Art Goldberg will present images from his recent trip to Hawaii, “Capturing the Moment: Lanai and Oahu.”

Art wrote:
“Shooting pictures has always been an exhilarating experience for me. My camera is always with me wherever I travel.

“I am inspired by nature’s fundamental beauty. Some of my best moments are when I am in the bush alone and feel the primeval essence of natural world. Photography becomes an extension of my love affair with nature and I seek to preserve those moments of rare beauty with my lens.”

“Sometimes I focus on a specific geographic region. My most rewarding experiences, however, are those when I happen to be in the right place at the perfect moment to observe those rare and fleeting images of nature. During these times I am in the “zone”, totally immersed in capturing my subject with my camera.

“My goal is to capture images that evoke an emotional high in me and to then share these images with others.”
