Photographers East was formed in 1991 by a group of three East End Photographers interested in sharing their work, skills and desire to improve through peer feedback. The group has grown and evolved over the years but has always maintained its core identity as a support group welcoming photographers of any experience level who have a common interest in photography as art and in exploring and sharing  the tools and techniques used to produce the final print.

Photographers East meets monthly in the Community Room of the the Bridgehampton National Bank in Bridgehampton, NY on the second Monday of the month starting at 7pm. Most meetings feature an invited speaker. Photographers East hosts one to two group exhibitions each year.
